Review: Safe Word by Cerebral Brewing

Safe Word is an Imperial Oatmeal Stout conditioned on Belize cacao nibs from Cultura Craft Chocolate, along with cassia bark and coconut. This is going to be my first review of many. I've always been trying to push my account further and further each year so with the new year ringing in, here's a review. I first tried this stout a few months ago and thought it was insanely delicious. So now I am happy to have it back in its new sleek form in bottles. It pours a slick dark brown with an aroma of cacao, coconut, cinnamon, and coffee. You'll get a mouth full of creamy chocolate and coffee upon your first sip. The mouthfeel on this one is super pillowy and light. As it warms up, you'll start tasting more cinnamon, cacao, and hints of coconut. It's high ABV of 10% comes off very light and smooth making it a pleasure to drink. At first I wasn't sure if I was drinking a beer or some hot cocoa. And I'll just say if they threw this into some barrels, I would not be disappointed! If you ever have the opportunity to try this beer. Go for it you will not be disappointed! And thank you for chiming in on my first review. I hope to improve on each and every one of these reviews. So check back every now and then to see what's going on over in the world of Beer Breath.
